I sat in the front row of the audience when I heard Brittany speak and I SWEAR she was talking straight to me. As soon as she started talking, my attention peaked. I have never had a bad experience with keynote speakers, but none of the ones I have heard prior to Brittanys stuck with me. So I honestly was not expecting Brittany’s speech to be any different. But it was. I found myself FINALLY relating to what she was saying. She did not know what I was going through, yet I could have sworn she did because she was hitting so many points that I needed answers to. I felt like it was just her and I in the room, because she was really hitting home with every sentence she said. The talk felt so personalized that I forgot it wasn’t just her and I. I was in a room full of people. Words cannot express the relief I feel now. My life is still messy, but instead of letting it consume me, I’m learning to live WITH it. Brittany also pointed that out. We can live with anxiety AND have a happy life. Her speech was life changing and I will be forever thankful that I was in that front row.

If I had to choose 3 words to describe Brittany’s presentation they would be relatable, compelling, and moving. When I first walked into the room I could immediately feel the positive energy. By listening to more of Brittany’s story, I could tell that she has been through so many challenging life experiences that have helped shape the person she is today. She uses life lessons to motivate and inspire others like no other! Her presentation was something that will make me a better leader and stay with me for my whole life. I was able to speak to her after the session ( in tears ) and we just clicked. I will forever be so thankful we crossed paths.💗

I got the opportunity to listen to Brittany speak at Indiana HOSA’s SLC…. She was one of the best keynotes that I have heard. Her keynotes are super engaging and give you the opportunity to connect with and meet new people. I found her super relatable and it was easy to understand what she was trying to convey through the many pop culture references she made. She had influenced me to watch the Breakfast Club and it was such a great movie. She does such a good job at kicking the stigma surrounding mental health. I could not recommend her enough to anyone looking for a relatable and entertaining keynote about mental health.

Listening to Brittany talk about mental health and her personal experiences as a high schooler were extremely relatable and healing. Her “carrying a heavy backpack well” was extremely relatable to my personal life experiences. Having someone older that you can relate to in so many ways, like Brittany, gives so much hope for the future. She is an amazing speaker, presenter, and friend! She is so nice to talk to and I am so thankful I was granted the opportunity to talk to her one on one at the FCCLA state leadership conference!

My whole life i have struggled with anxiety. While I was at HOSA, I was experiencing extreme anxiety just because it was something very new for me. The night I listened to Brittany was an eye opening experience for me. So much so that I was in tears listening to her talk to the whole crowd. She has shown me that it is okay to be scared but to take things as slow as you need to and that it is okay. I have been very touched by Brittany’s words. 💗

As someone who constantly struggles with my battle with mental health, Brittany made me feel seen. Her “tell me more” actually helped me talk to a friend about everything going on. I even used “tell me more” at home with my family.

Mrs. Richmond was such an incredible speaker. Her presentation closely relates to students through the introduction of a classic 80s’ movie, The Breakfast Club. I would recommend her for any conference for young adults. She is creative, funny, and relatable.

Brittany is a breath of fresh air. She’s relevant to the culture she’s speaking to and addresses the issues of the day in an upbeat, authentic way. We loved having her at the Momentum Youth Conference 2024. Thank you Brittany for your message of hope through the story of your life.

Brittany Richmond recently came to Western Illinois University. She was our keynote speaker for a Panhellenic bonding retreat. Brittany talks greatly about having people to lean on and trust, and to find that deeper connection with people alike. Everyone’s mental health matters!

Brittany is a wonderful speaker who spoke out about her struggles with anxiety in order to help those experiencing similar problems. She made it clear that those struggling are not alone. She is so amazing and I enjoyed every moment of her presentation. We were very lucky to have her as our 2025 Keynote Speaker!

The environment Brittany created was unlike any experience I’ve been to. She is kind, understanding, and navigates sensitive subjects with skill and compassion. When you’re carrying a heavy backpack, it’s hard to set it down not knowing how that feels. I’ve never felt so safe to explore that feeling like I did during Brittany’s session.
Olivia, AFA Leaders Conference, 2025
Brittany was absolutely amazing! It’s rare to meet a speaker with so much enthusiasm and passion. She easily relates to the youth in the audience and her message is supportive and amazing! I could not recommend Brittany enough!
