Hi friend!
I’m Brittany! Even though I speak on “living with” anxiety, I didn’t always… at one point, it was very much “suffering from” it.
After high school, I was diagnosed with multiple anxiety disorders… and for years I wrestled with the lies anxiety told me. I’d consistently ask myself, why are things so easy for other people but so hard for me? I felt alone.
After years of working on myself and learning to talk about how I felt, I’ve found my mission: With a master’s in psychology, years of experience as a mental health professional in schools, and my own journey of healing, I created a powerful message that blends personal story, clinical insight, and real-world tools to help students, educators, and communities face anxiety head-on. Today, I travel the country empowering teens, young adults, and leaders to move from fear and self-doubt into connection, confidence, and hope.
Because here’s the truth: you can live with anxiety AND have a happy life. They are not mutually exclusive.
I live with pretty severe, high-functioning anxiety AND live an amazing life doing what I absolutely love! That said, home is my sanctuary!
When people ask me my hobbies, I jokingly say, “going home, coming home, staying home, being home.” HA! Why share this? Because it’s the reason I’m so intentional about what events I take on. I limit my speaking engagements to around 40 events a year 🙂
So what am I up to when I’m not on stage? Glad you asked 😉 So off stage, my husband is a high school teacher and baseball coach, so having time off together for holidays and summers is a blessing!
I love showing up for his baseball boys and their families—hosting events, cheering at games, and even planning fundraisers! We’re huge baseball fans (and NFL fans too!), so traveling to games and making memories together is our jam.
On top of this, we love our Netflix binge nights, cuddling with our boys Fox & Fin and being with family!
My husband is the backbone to our life and such a great leader. He is also my best friend, so anything I get to do with him, I am grateful!
